Cheketa Tinsley

Ephren,

I would love to be mentored by you. I believe that I would be the perfect student to be mentored by you, because I am a go-getter. I do not believe in failure. I believe that anything is possible if you are in agreement with your dreams and aspirations. I am the oldest of 8 children. My mother was an addict for 26 of my 32 years of life. Needless to say, I had a huge burden. I became a mother at age 15. I raised my daughter, Keesha, and my 7 brothers and sisters on my own. I made alot of critical mistakes along the way, but failure was not an option. Out of 7 of my mother's children that I raised, all of them have either the GED's or High School diploma. One of them went further to obtain a masters in cosmetology and another went on to obtain a bachelors in nursing. It took every ounce of my being to not give up on raising children that blamed me for their life being the way that it was, mother & fatherless. It was very difficult. After "doing them", I decided that it was time to "do me" and I haven't stopped "doing me" since. I own a salon that is struggling from day to day to keep the doors open. My sister with the masters in cosmetology is the manager. In the basement is also a a media group that I recently launched where I have a large industrial printer and a wide format printer. I publish a quarterly hair, fashion, and entertainment magazine called L'Stylz Magazine. L' Stylz Magazine is a magazine where intelligence, enlightenment, the socially concious, and all aspects of beauty co-exist. I was deeply inspired by your story and have had a deep desire to meet you. I hope that you will be moved by my testimony and not have pity on me, but instead choose to enlighten or what we say in Louisville, Kentucky..."Put me up on game." I can be reached at 502-386-2760. Thank you for pursuing your dreams, because it has motivated me to go-get mines all well.

Peace,

Cheketa "Che" Tinsley

Marcia

Congratulations Ephren on your speaking engagement at the DNC. Remind People of the Preamble to the Constitution that begins and states: "We The People In Order To Form A More Perfect Union"...that The People are the government, not the government governing the people!
In my first post to you, I asked about your possible mentoring in NYC, my grandnephew is in Brooklyn. How can we find out more? Thank you so much for opening your HEART to giving to others!

Ephren,
Just seeing you on the cover of the Millionaire Blueprints Magazine piqued my interest. Which led me to their blog page, then yours and this amazingly enticing proposal you seem to be mentally dabbling with. Which now brings me to my answer to your question, "Would anyone be interested in going through some grueling mentoring, coaching, tutoring in the art of deal making?" Said emphatically of course,"HECK YEAH!"

Marinda Alexis

Greetings Ephren, Good Morning! Hope all is well in Mississippi… you mentioned that the lovely people in LA had a lot to say concerning you being from Mississippi – I have included a list below of nationally recognized people from or having lived in Mississippi so anytime someone has a little something to say you may be reminded of the people below who forged a remarkable path like yourself – one that is not restricted to the likes of LA but is just as nice…

Oh no you didn’t… by now you may now I am educated but that does not mean that I can’t break it down for ya… you posted on your blog – Is anyone interested in becoming the next mentee! HELLO… how you doin’ did I not come to mind Ephren? I am fully cognizant that you owe me nothing – likewise I am well aware that I have been diligent in communication with you as to the undeniable value a mentee opportunity would be to myself and my family as well as what I would give back as a result to the community at large! Where have I fallen short in my communications or in any respect that when the urge came upon you to give through the opportunity as a Mentor that I did not come to mind? You must be saying Huh does this child of God have any idea what comes to my mind in the course of a day… maybe then I would understand – but the truth is I would imagine you have a million and one thoughts – my hope was to be nothing other than the first when you had any thought of a mentee…

Ephren, I am not interested in what I can do for myself but what I can do at large through a mentee opportunity. Presently I am seated at the table to give all of my time, talent, and treasures without procrastination and with my lamp AND my oil – that you might grant me the opportunity and privilege as a mentee… that I might seize that once in a lifetime gift to give back for generations to come.

Please provide me your true and earnest consideration.

Always with respect – my hats off to you in Mississippi J

Marinda
