Childrens Entertainment Center in St. Peters, MO is seeking to fill an IMMEDIATE opening for a General Manager. We are seeking an individual who loves working with Children, in one of the most fun and exciting environments in St. Louis.

Our facility is an 12,000 square foot entertainment center complete with mazes, tunnels, and arcade. The concept is similar to that of a Chuck E. Cheese, but way more engaging and fun for the family. We host hundreds of parties of a year, and as an established community business we are seeking a savvy general manager to take it to the next level.

The GM position will be responsible for day to day operations and management of the business with direct Profit and Loss responsibility. As a General Manager the duties will include but not limited to the following :

- Overseeing Center Day to Day Operations
- Managing, Training, and Hiring Staff (Current Staff at 19 Workers)
- Developing and improving management systems
- Selling Services to Educational Institutions
- Managing inventory, purchasing and invoicing
- Managing kitchen staff, and order preparation
- Marketing / Sales Business Locally in the area
- Working with public relations to enhance public image
- Maintaining a safe and fun work environment for all involved
- Increasing and managing growth of local operation
- Developing daily sales, reports
- Accounting for all cash, and credit card transactions daily
- Facilitating bank deposits , and reconciling receipts

Ideal candidate will have the following skills :

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to deal effectively with people on multiple levels
- Microsoft office, and internet skills
- Financial Management and Reporting
- Some Sales Experience
- At least 3 years management experience

Education, School Teacher, Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, or Child Care experience a major plus.

*** This is a senior management position and will require availability on weekends, and all hours of facility operation.

Compensation : $40K+ Annual Salary, Stock Options, Profit Sharing, Bonuses

Anyone Wanna Be A Millionaire? Ephren is looking for some students to teach...

I had the urge to post a thought and a question.  For some reason I have the urge to grab a few mentees and teach them what I know, and see if they can make a million dollar$ under my guidance. 

Somehow I need to find the time, but I have this burning desire to put someone in the game.  It's time for this student, to become the teacher. 

If I did go down this road, would anyone be interested in going through some grueling mentoring, coaching, tutoring in the art of deal making?

I'm Looking For Interns

As many of you know I speak to young people and communities all across the country. My message and my purpose is to empower individuals to make a difference in their lives. One of the most important component of my message is economic empowerment, especially for urban and minority youth. 

As we kicked off our Urban Wealth Tour in Columbus, OH last week, many of the students who came to the events asked about jobs or internship opportunities in our organization. I gave this serious thought and have identified several areas where our firms can utilize interns to create a mutually beneficial and rewarding work experience with tangible objectives.
